Scorpia sat on the swings of the deserted town park, slowly moving back and forth. The sun had set an hour before, which was great in two respects. First, it was a known fact - between those she allowed to live - that she preferred the moon to the sun. Second, and more importantly, she needed to talk to a little vampire who couldn't go out in the sun.
Cayden something was the one she needed to speak with. It had been irresponsible of her to allow for the transformation to take place, but what had passed was in the past. Now she just had to correct her mistakes.
He would either live by her rules or she would kill him. She was stronger, faster and far more lethal than he was - and the sun didn't harm her. Of course, she alway had other means of murdering him, again, if he so chose not to listen.
But that would make him stupider than when she'd first lured him close enough.
"Cayden darling, come out, come out. I don't like to wait." she said in a sing-song voice, scanning the surrounding trees with her dark red eyes.

The moon had a welcoming sheen, it felt like years since the last time Cayden trusted himself to leave the safety of the school when in reality it'd been only a month since he'd been turned. As a human he would have stumbled and staggered through the dense clusters of tree roots and low growing bushes, but as a vampire... it was a walk in the park- which incidentally was where he was navigating towards.
Her voice was sharp, piercing his ears dispite the distance. Cayden raised his hands in mock surrender as he came into view. ''Miss me?" he found himself shocked, when had he found the courage to joke with a mindless killer? Lucy was the reason he was no longer the soft fleshy human he was before, but who was he to complain? Sure, for the next few hundred years he'd be subject to shadows and blood but in exchange for an eternity of never having to worry about life or sickness.
Cayden edged his way to Lucy's side with fear etched into his youthful face. Just in the way her curved figure sat poised in that swing brought rememberance to what she was capable of. Clearing his throat, Cayden decided to put on a more humble approach. "Miss Hale, you wanted to see me?" For good measure, he bowed low at the waist. He didn't want to get on the wrong side of her.

Scorpia watched him step out of the woods, but found no amusement in the way he greeted her. Even less was found when he mispronounced her name. Of course, the respectful bow allowed for him to live - though hardly. "I do not take lightly to people who mispronounce my name. Whenever in the world you pulled Miss Hale I shall never fathom. To you, until you have proved more than your current worthless status, shall refer to me solely as Mrs. Jackson. Am I clear?"
She searched his eyes for the understanding she hoped was there, for his sake of course. Falling victim to her wasn't exactly what one would describe as a pleasant experience. "Now come sit. If you know what's good for you, you'll listen too."
"It has come to my attention that you have felt the need to wonder away from my sights. I believe it was in our agreement that unless I have permanently dismissed you, that you are to obey each and every command I give you. Surely a smart young lad such as yourself would have understood what that entailed." Scorpia said, raising her narrow eyebrows and placing a graceful white finger on her devil red lips.
"Of course, you may answer whenever you see fit. Interruptions are not welcome, as you would know, but it never hurts to reply to my comments and questions. All are for your benefit after all."
