History: Katelyn was born in Boise, Idaho in the year of 1820 to her mother, Cherie, and her father, James. She was a normal child that did all the normal things that children did. Even though she was the baby of the family, it didn't mean that she got the most attention. In fact she got the least bit of attention. Her and her other eight siblings all fought for the attention of their mother or father and the sisters that had gotten knocked up had gotten the most attention. The only attention that Katelyn got was when she was either alone with her father or when she was in trouble and or danger.
At sixteen she had gotten pregnant with her first baby but after three months she had lost the baby since she wasn't strong enough to hold onto the baby. It crushed her to know that her body had killed the baby so that she herself wouldn't be killed. She had been numb for years and spent most of those said years just wandering aimlessly around.
Years later she had the misfortune of running into a stranger on one of those nights she was just walking around. The stranger certainly was a person she had never seen before and by the looks of him, he looked like someone she never wanted to see. After many attempts of trying to get from the creepy stranger, which all failed, the man had whispered something in her ear that she didn't understand for it had been a different language. She was about to question it but the before she could get the words out, she felt a sharp pain in her neck before she felt searing pain that had brought her to her knees.
There had been no doubt in Katelyn's mind that she was a vampire when she had awaken from her sleep. One, she was really thirsty and it wasn't for water. It was for blood. Two, her eyes were different color, blood red. Three, when she had run her tongue along her teeth, she had cut it and she discovered that she had fangs. Katelyn was alone that day and she clung to the darkness as much as possible for she knew what was to happen if she took one step into the sunlight. Later that day, the man who turned her had come back and basically told her that she had an hour to pack all of her things and say goodbye to her family before she left with the man that she didn't know. At first she didn't even consider going with him but she knew she had too since she had no idea how to deal with her urges.
After leaving her family and following the stranger that she didn't know, she learned the ways of being a vampire and once her "mentor" was done teaching her, Katelyn left back to the states to visit her family's graves for the time was 1900 and she knew they were all dead. She stared at their tombstones for hours, thinking of all that she had been through with that family before she left with nothing to say to them. It wasn't her that had deserted them, it was them that had deserted her was all that she thought of as she lived her life out as a normal vampire was.
When Katelyn was about 200 years old, she decided she wanted to teach at a school that had people like her and she found St. Vector's Academy for Supernatural Beings. She is currently teaching Literacy at the school and is currently loving her job.

Strengths: Katelyn is good at lying which isn't necessarily a good thing when it comes down to it. She's also good with reading and writing which was why she chose it as a career path. She works well with others if she really has too but she prefers to work alone. Plus, Katelyn can be very stubborn which helps in a lot of cases.
Weaknesses: Her weaknesses are similar to her strengths meaning they are just as strong as the strengths but at the same time, they weaken her. A weakness of her is that she cares too much for people and sometimes she cares for the wrong people. Even though her stubbornness is a strength, it could also be a weakness for it gets her in a lot of trouble. Her mouth gets her in a lot of trouble too for she speaks her mind and she doesn't have the little voice in her head to tell her to think twice, or at least she does but she just doesn't listen to it. Plus she falls in love very easily which causes her many heartbreaks.
Anything Else: Not that I can think of as the moment.
RP Sample:
Katelyn stood there looking at her former family's tombstones. It took her awhile to find the right graveyard where her kin had been buried. She wasn't sure what she was feeling as she just stood there, staring at the names. They were all gone. Every single one of them. The only ones of her distant family that remained were the children of her siblings and they wouldn't even know of her. Katelyn would be just like a complete stranger to them like that man that had changed her life had been. It wasn't worth it at all. It was just going to be one whole disappointment to her and she had a lot of disappointments throughout her life so she didn't really need another one.
As she looked down at the grass and kicked it as soft as she could. She felt a smirk tug at her lips and as she looked up from the graves of her former family, her red eyes shone darkly as she did so. She looked into the distance and giggled quietly to herself before turning around and walking away. "They got what was coming to them," she whispered to herself.
