Rayne is tall enough. He used to get teased by his height. Now he laughs at them because most of them are six feet under. Rayne has his bangs colored a pretty blue. Being a vampire, he can change the color whenever he sees fit. His eyes are like rubies. Very pretty rubies that just got pulled out of a vat of fresh blood.

The Person

Personality: Rayne is very playful. He enjoys a good joke. However, he suffers depression after what happened to him in his studies abroad in America. Rayne is an actor. He can hide his emotions really well.
History: Rayne A.E. Tyler was born in 1810 to loving parents. He was adored. He was their first born son and such a gift to them both. Three years later, Rayne got a baby brother that got named Zeke Tyler. While Rayne was adored, Zeke was often beaten. Rayne tended to sneak into Zeke's room after he got beat and would always take care of his baby brother. Rayne always tried to be there for Zeke. One day, though, all of that changed. Rayne had just gotten out of school and was ready to see the world. He left and only Zeke knew. At that point, Rayne was 17 and Zeke was 14.

Rayne traveled all over Europe, studying everything he could. His life drastically changed when he traveled through Romania, though. He was attacked by a vampire. He didn't know that at the time, though. He only knew what he was when he woke up and saw his attacker watching him in interest. His attacker was now officially his Sire. Over the next two years, his Sire taught him about all there was to being a vampire. Slowly, Rayne gained control over his blood lust. The year Rayne was supposed to turn 21, he decided to try and pay his little sister a visit. Little Sister was the affectionate nickname he gave Zeke all those years ago.

He showed up at his old home almost three years later due to the facts that he had to travel only at night and had to feed often and that he and his sire were constantly hunted.. When he got to the house, no one but Zeke was home. He knocked on the door and waited patiently to be invited in, as was the curse of the vampire. Zeke let him in, not knowing that Rayne was a vampire. When Rayne finally was able to confess that he was a vampire, there had been a long bit of silence and Zeke finally asked to be turned. He wanted to be with his brother -at least that was what he said. Rayne had no qualms about turning the younger boy into a vampire.

Rayne went his separate way from Zeke for almost two centuries, studying more about the vampire life style and the human race as it grew. In 2006, he met someone and they both found a common interest in music. They formed a band called The Snakes. Rayne was the clean vocals and the man he met, Dennis, was the front man and screamed. Rayne and Dennis were in a relationship. Shit ended up happening and Rayne decided to go back to his hometown to be with Zeke more.

Ever since, Rayne and Zeke have been together. Rayne learned from his sire (who had long since stepped into the sunlight) and he taught Zeke all he knew. Now Rayne wants to settle down for a while and teach more young vampires. But he doesn't want to teach them about being a vampire. He needs a break from that. He wants to teach them how to act! And how to play music.

Strengths: Rayne is an amazing actor. He can quote Shakespeare in character and do it well. He sings exponentially well and dabbled in guitar and piano. Rayne is actually very good with humans.
Weaknesses: He isn't good at being honest when it comes to his emotions. He's not good at being nice when he really doesn't like someone. Rayne isn't good with know-it-all kids. He can't stand screamo music -if he could, he would cry every time he heard screamo music. Rayne isn't good at dealing with other peoples' emotions.
Anything Else: Ehh... He's depressed but hides it.

Rayne stared blankly at the wall, suckling on his lip ring thoughtfully. He was thinking about his latest tattoo, to be honest. He was a vampire and it should have been impossible for the tattoos to be on his body. However, he knew a Magician and a vampire who were both really into giving and getting tattoos. They loved Rayne because he was such a challenge -his skin was hardened from the past 10 years of walking in the dying sunlight. It was getting increasingly hard for him to get tattoos. Hell, his piercings were done in 2000 when his skin had been tender still to the touch of a vampire. His lip was pierced as was his nose.

But back to his latest tattoo. It was of his current favorite song, "I Don't Love You". The quote wrapped around his left forearm and was black. It glowed against his pale skin. The quote was a simple one, one that made him think of the shit that happened back after 2012. His newest tattoo simply read "I don't love you like I loved you yesterday."
