The night was the best time to raid the blood room. Or so Victoria thought anyway. She'd raid it once or twice a month, only taking a few bags of artificial blood so no-one noticed. She had a mini fridge in her room to keep it cool. She'd snuck down the hall and into the room, making as little noise as possible, until she was inside. The smell of the blood hit her minutes before she got there, and she felt the hunger and burn start up. She opened her bag on one of the tables, looking through the fridges at the bagged fluids. Deer, squirrel, and surprisingly dog and cat. She wrinkled her nose at the thought of drinking the latter two. Grabbing one bag of deer and one bag of fox, she placed them in the bag. She turned and looked at a stash of bags in on one shelf. Human blood. It was rare to see human blood, and as Victoria had never tried it, she turned away as quick as she had looked at it. She walked around the other fridges, looking in each one to see what was in. She grabbed one out and read the little writing. Squirrel. Not a lot of people like it. Victoria looked at the clock above the door. Just after 12. She smiled and ripped a hole into the bag, squeezing the blood up into her mouth. Outfit

It was depressing, yes, but Scorpia found herself spending more and more nights - and days - lurking in the forest surrounding a great part of the school. Her little rat had to be kept in check, regardless of his pathetic promises. He was a mortal and his words meant nothing to her. It was actually rare when someone's did - mortal or not.
Yet Scorpia also knew that she could easily enter the school without so much as a glance, as many students often did. She looked twenty-three, the age of a college student; and she was beautiful. Certainly no man would accuse her of a wrongful act.
With an ageless sigh Scorpia left the misguilding trees and walked towards the school doors. She was just going to have a little look around, she decided, pushing the doors inward and swiftly moving down the vast hall. Little Elye had never liked the idea of her to come into the school and she'd lied through her teeth and vowed not to.
Like she said - words meant nothing to her.
Quickly she found herself on the third level, following a trail. Blood. There was lots of it, somewhere close, Scorpia thought. She was never one to accept blood and often took it by force from one of her stupid little dolls. No, her appreciation for the human race wasn't high, but why should it be? She was better than them now. Stronger, faster, smarter - she was god in comparision.
Stopping outside the door she inhaled deeply. Disgraceful animal blood was present and masking something ... Human blood. I think it's safe to say I've earned this right, and she opened the door with caution, stepping inside.
Beautiful, and she instantly located the stash of human blood, ripping open the bag closest to her and downing it all, only slightly disappointed that it wasn't warm. But there was another aura in the room, and Scorpia slowly straightened up and turned to face them. "Must've missed you. Awful sorry. Name's Lucy, Lucy Jackson." ah, the classic 'human' charade begins again.

The blood only satisfied the current burn that Vic had when she entered the room, but it was enough for now. She emptied the bag fully and found the disposal bin. She heard footsteps approaching, getting closer to the blood room. As quick as she could, she grabbed her bag as she ran for a hiding spot, between a fridge and the wall. She squeezed herself in, holding her breath so not to give herself away. Then the footsteps entered the room. It was a woman, only a few years older than her, but at first glance she seemed normal, which made Vic think why she would be in the blood room. Then it clicked. She'd made her way over to the human blood. Vampire. Vic squeezed herself slowly out of her hiding space and started towards the door, hoping not to be caught. Then she heard a voice. She turned her head to see the new vampire looking at her, giving her a name. Vic's red eyes surveyed her face closely. There was something in her eyes that made Vic suspicious. "Okay, Lucy." she said, showing her suspicion in her voice. "I'm Victoria. Nice to meet you..."
