Such a pretty town, Scorpia thought as she stared at the smooth lake's surface. The moon was not reflected in the center of the water at all, which she had to admit, was disappointing. She loved werewolves, mainly because the poor fools were suffering - or so she'd been told. That, and they made good company, as they were close enough to being her equal. Both lurked in the nights shadow and thrived on her love.
Sure, Scorpia could walk in sunlight, but she hated it. Night was her only true love, in all her wickedness.
The breeze shifted and Scorpia's mouth formed a smile. Blood was drawing near. Turning she pushed her hair behind her ear and acted innocent - human. "Hello, my name is Lucy. Lucy Jackson." she purred.

Ambrosia made his own work hours. He decided where he worked, when he had to get up, and what he did daily. Today, Ambrosia took the day off. Of course, he did some displays of magic (his specialty was changing his appearance) for people who we regulars to his street shows but mainly, the man just needed to take a moment to himself. As he approached the park, he sighed in relief. It would be a heavy coincidence bordering on stalkerism if someone who knew his performances was at the park.
The lake seemed to sing to Ambrosia so, like a good magician, the young adult went with pleasure. He sauntered toward the lake with such swagger one would think he owned the world. He stopped walking when he got to the lake's edge. There was someone there and the water (for his forte lie with changing appearances but his affinity was with water) whispered that all was not right with this... Innocent looking girl.
Tipping his head to the side, Ambrosia raised his brows at the woman. "Lucy," he repeated when she introduced herself. "I'm Bo," he said, lying easily. His mother had once called him Bo when he was a kid so technically he wasn't lying. "Bo Phoenix," he finished, not wanting... Lucy to be suspicious of him. He felt a bit bad about using his baby sister's name as his own last name but as long as Lucy didn't track him, he supposed he and Phoenix would be safe. Words: 257

"Bo Phoenix? Why, with such a name I'd have thought myself to have heard of you before. I have an unrealistic - if you would - desire to get to know people that I find. Usually if they fit into such categories as 'useful' or 'interesting' I find a tendency to find more about them. Yet, then again, if there is one thing that I cannot stand, it would be liars." Scorpia narrowed her eyes. "Are you a liar Bo?"
She gracefully pushed her silky hair off her shoulders, contemplating sending him somewhere lonely and isolated. But for all the good it would do at the moment, she decided against it - for now. "I am waiting Bo. It is quite rude to keep a woman waiting."
